Job Description - Talent Acquisition Intern

Payrails is an innovative technology company with a team that has many years of experience in the payment industry and a real-life understanding of the merchants’ needs. Our Team offers you the opportunity to work alongside talented and driven people and culture experts, while giving you the autonomy to make a significant impact. As part of the People Team, you'll collaborate across departments, addressing complex hiring needs and shaping the future of Payrails.As a Talent Acquisition Intern at Payrails, you’ll work side-by-side with our People team to supercharge our hiring engine. You’ll get hands-on experience across the entire recruitment process and play a key role in helping us scale with the right talent.

Here’s what you’ll get involved in:

  • Sourcing & Research: Identify and engage top talent across tech, product, sales & operations using LinkedIn and other tools
  • Interview Coordination: Help schedule interviews, manage calendars, and make the candidate experience seamless
  • Job Postings: Draft, publish, and maintain job descriptions across platforms
  • Hiring Analytics: Support data tracking and reporting across our ATS (Personio) and sourcing channels
  • Process Improvements: Work with the team to optimize how we hire, from workflows to documentation
  • Employer Branding: Help create content for LinkedIn, job pages, and other channels to showcase what working at Payrails is all about
  • You're currently studying (or recently graduated) in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field
  • You’re genuinely curious about recruitment, people, and startups and seek opportunities for growth 
  • You’re organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • You thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • You’re a strong communicator in English (German is a plus, but not required)
  • You’re comfortable using tools like LinkedIn, Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace
  • Bonus: You’ve had some hands-on experience in recruiting, HR, or startup environments
  • You can truly create your own path by taking responsibility and implementing your own ideas.
