VCF Internship - DOD SkillBridge-eligible applicants only

PGTEK is proud to partner with the DoD SkillBridge program, designed to connect transitioning service members with valuable civilian work experience through internships during their last six months of service, for up to 180 days.

The PGTEK PATH (Professional Advanced Training for Heroes) offers service members the opportunity to develop skills and gain work experience, with the potential for full-time employment following the internship.

Job description:

This person will travel around the country to various customer sites while helping implement a wide assortment of VMware products, including vSphere, ESXi servers, upgrading to NSX-T, and much more. A Secret clearance (or higher) would be ideal, and you will be traveling roughly 75%, typically onsite Monday through Thursday/Friday but home EVERY single weekend. There may be some weeks when you're not traveling quite so much or working remotely from home. Here at PGTEK, we can also get you trained in different areas/technologies so you wouldn't be locked into doing one particular task over and over again.

Tasks:

• Install vCenter, ESXi servers, vSAN, vCF for Operations, vCF Automation, etc.
• Upgrading to NSX-T

Nice to have but not required:

• Design vCF Automation for cloud automation
• Deploy vCF Automation for a cloud automation foundation
• Leverage vCF for Operations with vCF Automation for private cloud service monitoring
