We're looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and organized Resident Experience & Events Intern to join our Marketing Department and help bring that mission to life.

This hands-on internship offers the opportunity to gain experience in event planning, resident engagement, hospitality, marketing, and multifamily property management while making a meaningful impact across our communities.

Resident Events & Experiences

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing resident appreciation events, seasonal celebrations, community gatherings, and engagement activities.
• Develop creative event concepts tailored to different communities and resident demographics.
• Coordinate event logistics, including vendors, supplies, budgets, schedules, and on-site setup.
• Attend and support events, helping create a welcoming and memorable experience for residents.
• Collect resident feedback and evaluate event participation and success.

Resident Engagement & Community Building

• Help develop initiatives that encourage resident participation and foster a sense of community.
• Research resident experience trends and creative engagement ideas within the multifamily industry.
• Assist with resident appreciation programs, welcome initiatives, and other relationship-building opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to partner with neighborhood businesses to offer resident perks, experiences, and exclusive promotions.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to identify opportunities to enhance the resident experience.

Marketing & Communications

• Partner with the Marketing Department to promote events through email, social media, flyers, and other communication channels.
• Assist with creating engaging event materials and promotional content using Canva and other marketing tools.
• Capture photos and short-form video content at events for use across company marketing channels.
• Help highlight community events, resident experiences, and neighborhood partnerships through social media.
• Support resident feedback and online reputation initiatives.

Research, Reporting & Collaboration

• Maintain an organized calendar of resident events and engagement initiatives.
• Track event attendance, expenses, resident feedback, and other measures of success.
• Research new ideas and industry best practices to improve resident engagement.
• Collaborate with community managers, leasing teams, and the corporate Marketing Department.
• Assist with special marketing projects and company-wide initiatives as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Creative thinker with a passion for bringing people together.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with Canva, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to apartment communities and occasionally work evenings or weekends for scheduled events.
• An interest in hospitality, community engagement, or the multifamily housing industry is a plus.
