Job Description - Residential Intern

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES) …

This internship will allow you to learn about Newport Mental Health's person-centered approach to care and will allow the individual to shadow counselors during their day to day work at our residential facilities.

This role will allow the intern to see how to serve as a client advocate.

Requirements

Completion of the 10 week Personal Care Attendant professional training
CPR and First Aid Certified
Adult Daily Living Skills Training
Safety and Emergency Training
Successful completion of high school degree or equivalent.
