Respiratory Student Tech - Per Diem

SUMMARY

Assists the Respiratory Therapist’s with the daily routine and functions of the RT Department by the completion of both indirect and direct patient care activities.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

High School graduate or equivalent.
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Experience in data entry or typing preferred.
Previous clerical experience preferred.
Legible handwriting.
Through education, experience, and/or training, the individual is qualified to work with infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Fluent knowledge of medical terminology.
Current BLS Healthcare Provider card
