About the Internship
Build your marketing skills while supporting a meaningful mission. The Rescue Mission seeks a creative Social Enterprise (Retail) Marketing Intern for the current semester to support Thrifty Shopper and 3fifteen through social media, digital content, promotions, and e-commerce.
This unpaid internship offers hands-on learning in nonprofit retail marketing.
What You'll Gain

What You'll Do
- Support digital campaigns and promotions for the Rescue Mission’s retail brands.
- Create social media posts, flyers, slideshows, and blog content.
- Review past promotions and contribute ideas to grow engagement and reach.
- Update e-commerce listings, post merchandise, and monitor customer comments and offers.
- Assist with day-to-day marketing projects while upholding the Rescue Mission’s mission, policies, and values.
What We're Looking For
- College student or individual seeking experience in marketing, communications, digital media, retail, business, or a related field.
- Interest in social media, content creation, retail marketing, or e-commerce.
- Strong communication skills, creativity, and a willingness to learn and share ideas.
- Organized and dependable, with the ability to manage projects independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to putting love into action through food, shelter, clothing, and hope.

- In person, with scheduling coordinated around academic commitments
- Academic credit may be pursued through your college or university, if applicable
