Sales Underwriting Intern (Summer Program)

As an Sales Underwriting Intern, you will be supporting members of the team ranging from new employees up to management. The Sales Underwriting department is responsible for analyzing risk and evaluating financial integrity for potential new clients. 

Responsibilities: 

• Review and file all paperwork for prospective new clients and communicate missing items to our Sales team 


• Make email verification calls to prospective clients as a form of fraud prevention 


• Assist senior team members with verifying pay statuses and load delivery information for active buyouts 


• Enter client data and activate new accounts in our system 


• Process a UCC filing for each client 


• Communicate with the team about the activity of daily operations 


• Assist team members and management as otherwise needed 

What we look for: 

• Working towards Bachelor's degree in Business or related field  


• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills 


• Team player with multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities 


• Strong analytical skills and good judgement 


• Ability to handle difficult conversations 


• Proficiency in MS Excel and related computer knowledge
