Purpose of the Role

RapidAIM is seeking Seasonal Agriculture Field Technicians on a temporary, seasonal basis to support the deployment of our pest monitoring technology across California orchards. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role, focused on installing and servicing pest monitoring devices in collaboration with our operations team.

This role suits individuals who enjoy outdoor work, travelling to farm sites, and contributing to innovative agricultural solutions who are able to work to varying hours across a week.

Geographic Coverage

We are seeking Seasonal Field Technicians to cover key regions across California, including Northern and Central areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Install pest monitoring and control devices in orchards according to placement guidelines


• Set up and securely mount devices to ensure effective monitoring


• Attach, replace, and manage non‑chemical pest lures (attractants only)


• Install or replace device batteries during setup and service visits


• Inspect devices at installation to confirm correct placement and functionality


• Accurately document installation locations and completion status as required


• Use basic hand tools safely and appropriately for installation tasks


• Follow all safety, biosecurity, and company procedures at all times


• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working approach in the field

Working Pattern

• Monday to Friday availability required.


• Working hours will vary based on installation schedules and weather conditions but please let us know your availability when you apply.


• Regular travel to farm locations is a core requirement of the role. A mileage allowance will be provided if you have your own vehicle, or alternatively, a company vehicle will be supplied.


• Ideal start date of Mid-May 2026

Skills, Experience & Requirements

• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit consistently throughout the season


• Comfortable working outdoors in agricultural environments


• Able to travel independently to assigned farm sites


• Practical, hands‑on approach with good attention to detail


• Ability to follow procedures, safety requirements, and instructions accurately


• Basic mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools


• Good communication skills and professionalism when representing RapidAIM on farms

Desirable (but not essential):

• Previous agricultural, fieldwork, or seasonal work experience


• Familiarity with orchards or agricultural operations
