Job Description:

This role is reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and will take on multiple projects throughout the internship period.

Projects:

PFEP Project: Plan for Every Part

•  In order to improve efficiency and effectiveness in transporting inventory, we are introducing a new Transportation Management System (TMS).


•  This will require information gathered on each part supplied to OP Mobility to be updated and maintained in SAP.


•  Working with Suppliers and Material Planners, gather the necessary information and prepare files for uploading into SAP.

SAP – MRP Template Profiles

• In order to maintain consistency and standardization in SAP, we are auditing Material Replenishment Planning (MRP) part profiles to ensure every part has best practice parameters in place.


• Working with the Material Planners, review parts and parameters in SAP and drive changes to meet the templated standards.

Inbound Delivery Schedule

• In order to improve visibility to our supplier delivery schedule, we are creating a report that identifies when deliveries are intended to arrive each week.


• Working with the Material Planners, review inbound deliveries in SAP and create a standard report for our communication board and receiving clerk.

POE Shortage Report

• In order to improve visibility to potential POE shortages, take over running the daily report and cross-reference it with ECRs.


• Working with the Material Planners, identify risks before they occur and plan for no gaps in inventory.
