Skillbridge Intern Cable & Telecommunication Infrastructure Technician: Advanced Technician II

The Advanced Technician II learns to lead crews and manage daily jobsite operations, plan work, allocate resources, and track progress, learns to interact with clients, Project Managers, Program Manager, and stakeholders, enforce safety, quality, and performance standards.

Focus: Leadership exposure, team support, and business readiness. Intended for participants with substantial military leadership experience, advanced technical knowledge, or backgrounds that align with supervisory, mentoring, or management-track development. Participants in this track gain exposure to leadership expectations within a civilian business environment.

• Mentorship of junior participants when appropriate  
• Project planning and execution support  
• Quality, accountability, and performance oversight  
• Customer interaction and professional representation  
• Leadership transition from military to civilian workplace settings  

Outcome: Participants build experience relevant to lead technician, supervisor, project lead, or management-support roles and strengthen their ability to transition military leadership skills into the private sector.

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

• Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
• Duration of training: 121 - 150 days 
• Lead crews and manage daily job site operations
• Plan work, allocate resources, and track progress
• Interface with clients, PMs, and stakeholders
• Enforce safety, quality, and performance standards
• Placement on a track is based on prior experience, military background, technical aptitude, business needs, and program availability.
• Target MOCs 3D1X2, 3D1X7, 25L, 25B, 25H, 0612, 0631

SkillBridge Fellows are not eligible for any employee benefits, however they may be available upon conversion to full-time.

To be eligible for SkillBridge, you must meet the following requirements:

• Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29.
• Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.
• Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.
• Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.
• Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location

The EOA Technologies SkillBridge Program is organized into five structured training tracks designed to support transitioning Service Members as they build practical, career-ready skills in telecommunications, data center infrastructure, technical operations, and leadership support functions. Each track is intended to provide hands-on learning, supervised experience, and exposure to real-world business operations.

Participation in this program does not constitute employment with EOA Technologies. Participants remain active-duty Service Members under the authority of their respective military branch throughout the duration of the program.
