Job Description - SL8 Maintenance Trainee

Maintenance Trainee - Deerfield, MO

We're looking for a motivated Maintenance Trainee to join a food manufacturing environment in Deerfield, MO. This is a great opportunity to grow your maintenance skills while supporting a team that values safety, quality, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Ensure all products meet Food Safety and Quality Standards
Report any food safety concerns to your supervisor
Inspect machinery before use; report issues prior to or during operation
Verify correct product labeling and lot codes
Assemble and disassemble machinery as needed
Follow Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures during cleaning or scraping
Follow supervisor instructions on product runs and needed containers
Assist with industrial maintenance tasks, including exposure to:
- PLC basics
- Pump repairs/installs
- Fabrication and welding
- PSM processes
- Motor repairs/installs
- Basic electrical repairs

Pay

up to $22 per hour

Ideal Candidate

Mechanically inclined
Willing to learn industrial equipment and safety processes
Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
