Social Media & Marketing Intern

Are you passionate about digital marketing, social media, and all things dogs? Come join us at DogiZone, Montgomery County’s leading dog training, boarding, and grooming facility! We are looking for a Social Media & Marketing Intern to help grow our brand and engage our community. This position offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and brand engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and scheduling content for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Capture and edit photos and videos of dogs in training, daycare, and grooming.
• Monitor social media engagement and interact with followers.
• Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
• Help analyze performance metrics to optimize content strategies.
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm creative marketing ideas.

Location: On-site at DogiZone (Rockville, MD)
Job Type: Internship (unpaid), part-time (5-10 hrs/week), Monday–Friday. 

• Interest in digital marketing, social media, and pet care.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and current content trends.
• Basic experience with Canva, CapCut, or other content creation tools is a plus.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
