Job Overview:

The 1440 team is currently seeking a Social Media Intern to join our team in Islandia, New York. This role will assist the Marketing Capabilities team. From day one, this individual will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with company and branding goals. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest with marketing functions, including content creation, social media management, branding, and digital marketing. The candidate must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once.

We’re looking for a hands-on individual that is seeking to dive headfirst into the social world of protein. Ideally this candidate will wish to leave this internship with assets to support their portfolio and professional journey.

Job Responsibilities:

With the guidance of the Marketing Capabilities team, the intern will work on the following projects:

• Influencer Marketing: Assist in sourcing influencers, as well as coordinating surprise and delights.
• Content Creation & Management: Develop and produce engaging, trendy content for social media.
• Trend Monitoring: Conduct social media trend assessment to ensure brand is continuously improving content and strategy.
• Content Planning: Assist with creating social media content calendars to maintain portfolio organization.
• Social Listening: Monitor and report on social media analytics and trends.
• Community Management: Engage with social community and ensure swift communication with consumers.
• Other job duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or relevant course material.
• Experience in creating social video and photo materials independently for publication.
• In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest.
• Experience with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook is preferred.
• Great verbal and written communication skills.
• Interest in all-things protein- putting the PRO, in protein!
• Ability to work in office 3 days a week.
