Social Media Intern

Work you'll do:

We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to support the online presence of OnePet and our family of brands — Honest Paws, CertaPet, and TotalVet. This role is perfect for someone who loves pets, understands social media culture, and is eager to gain hands-on experience building brand engagement across multiple audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and posting content across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.).
• Brainstorm and pitch fresh content ideas aligned with brand voice and current trends.
• Support the creation of engaging photo, video, and graphic content (in collaboration with design/marketing teams).
• Monitor channels for engagement opportunities, including responding to comments and messages.
• Track and report on key metrics such as reach, engagement, and follower growth.
• Research industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices to keep content relevant and engaging.
• Help coordinate social media campaigns, giveaways, and influencer collaborations.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Passion for social media, digital content, and emerging trends.
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools (experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, or video editing a plus).
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
