Social Media Intern (Summer)

Flytrex is revolutionizing on-demand delivery in the suburbs using drones. Working closely with some of the world’s largest food corporations and restaurant chains, Flytrex is turning science fiction into reality.

What You’ll Do:

As our Social Media Intern, you'll be our on-the-ground content creator, capturing, editing, and publishing compelling visual stories that bring our drone deliveries to life. You’ll collaborate with our Director of Marketing to tailor content for different platforms, with a strong focus on short-form video.

This is a part-time, paid, remote internship role, as our offices are located abroad, but hybrid in the sense that on-site visits are required for capturing content of deliveries, restaurant owners, and customers in the Little Elm or Granbury area. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit our drone delivery stations (Little Elm or Granbury) 2–3 times per week to film and photograph engaging content.
• Edit and produce short-form videos and reels optimized for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Write engaging, clear, and channel-specific captions that reflect our brand voice.
• Assist in scheduling and publishing social content across platforms.
• Stay up to date on social media trends, sounds, competitors and formats to keep our content fresh.

Who You Are:

• Based within driving distance of Little Elm or Granbury, TX.
• Passionate about social media—you know what performs well on TikTok vs. Instagram and how to tailor content accordingly.
• Skilled in video editing using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, or similar platforms.
• Strong at writing catchy captions and engaging copy that reflects the tone of each channel.
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
• Bonus: You love drones, tech, or just making really cool content!
