Job Title: Marketing Intern

Department: Marketing - Content & Media

Reports To: Marketing and Promotions Manager

Location: SPIRE Academy – Harpersfield Township, Ohio

Job Type: Internship (Part-Time, On-Site)

Overview:

SPIRE Academy is seeking a driven and creative Marketing Intern with a focus on content

and media. This role offers hands-on experience in sports marketing, social media, and

brand storytelling. The intern will support the marketing team in creating content that

promotes SPIRE’s Academy, Athletics, Camps, and Events.

Key Responsibilities:

? Assist with various marketing initiatives, such a design and delivery of collateral

materials, promotional activities, events, pr and advertising campaigns

? Assist in creating content for social media, email marketing, websites and

promotional materials

? Capture photo and video at practices, events and around campus

? Support the development of content calendars and marketing campaigns

? Organize and tag content in SPIRE’s Media Drive

? Draft social copy, headlines and athlete stories that reflect SPIRE’s voice

? Collaborate with student athletes, coaches and staff to highlight key moments

? Monitor social trends and suggest new content ideas

? Help track campaign performance and engagement metrics

Qualifications:

? Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Sports

Management or a related field

? Interest in sports marketing, social media and content strategy

? Strong writing and organizational skills

? Basic photo/video editing experience (Adobe or mobile apps)

? Ability to work both within a team and the ability to work independently while

managing multiple tasks

? Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Drive, etc.)

? Full-time hours with flexibility to work some evenings and weekend as needed

? Passion for sports, storytelling and content.
