Sports Information and Marketing Assistant

Position Summary: The Sports Information and Marketing Assistant supports the promotion and coverage of North Central Missouri College Athletics through statistical reporting, digital content creation, graphic design, and game day communications. This position plays a key role in enhancing the visibility of NCMC athletics programs while providing timely and accurate information to fans, student-athletes, coaches, and the community. Must be able to work night and weekend hours.

FULL TIME/PART TIME: Part time
LOCATION: Trenton, Missouri-Main Campus/Barton Farm Campus

Essential Functions: Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to

· Utilize live statistical software systems, including PrestoStats and GameChanger, to provide accurate real-time statistics for men's and women's basketball, baseball, and softball contests. 

· Assist with game day operations related to scorekeeping, statistical reporting, and distribution of official game statistics. 

· Create, update, and maintain web-based content for the NCMCPirates.com athletics website and social media platforms. 

· Develop and publish engaging content for NCMC Athletics social media platforms, including graphics, photos, videos, and promotional materials. 

· Assist in the design, layout, and production of athletics game day programs, media guides, and promotional publications using Adobe Creative Suite software. 

· Capture and organize athletic event information, photos, and statistics for use in digital and print communications. 

· Perform additional athletics communications and game day duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

Skills: Previous work and understanding of game software and Abobe preferred. 

Physical Demands: Lifting or moving up to a 50lb. maximum; standing for extended periods of time; moving about between buildings on the NCMC campus; ascending and descending stairs; reaching, pulling, and pushing equipment; able to do repetitive tasks. 

Environmental Demands: working in outdoor elements including weather and dust. Working in environments where noise is elevated.
