Job Description
The Chesapeake Baysox Merchandise Intern is a part-time hybrid internship designed exclusively for current university students who will receive college credit for participation. This internship provides hands-on, real-world experience within a professional sports organization. The Merchandise Intern will gain valuable insight into retail operations, fan engagement, and sports-based merchandise sales while learning how a Minor League Baseball team store operates on both game days and non-game days. This position offers the opportunity to develop skills in communication, customer service, inventory management, and marketing collaboration. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
