Job Title: Quality Assurance Internship: Calibre
Siemens EDA (Electronic Design Automation) provides a line of software and hardware products dedicated to designing electronic systems.
We are seeking a Quality Assurance intern that will join our “Design to Silicon” division, specifically working on our Calibre product and Semi-Manufacturing team.
As an intern, you will work with the Quality Assurance Team within the Design for Silicon Division's Semi-Manufacturing products. You will be contributing to the expansion of the team’s application-specific functional and regression tests to measure these products' quality, robustness, performance, supportability, and usefulness in our customer's semiconductor manufacturing flows.
Responsibilities will include:
• Contribute to the test automation in the Calibre QA Semi-Manufacturing team.
• Enhance the testing of existing products.
• Contribute in building new testing flows and environments
• Collaborate with senior QA engineers on various development projects.
Organization Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, or a first-year master’s student, in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering .
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating system environments.
• Knowledge of shell scripting and interpreted software languages (preferred Python) are required skills to be effective in this job.
• The candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills, be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
• Able to thrive and improve in a multifaceted multi-site fast-paced development environment.

The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00 for technical roles or $18.00 to $44.00 for non-technical positions. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
