Student - Cadaver Lab Worker

Description

This position assists Human Anatomy instructors in cadaver dissections, clean-up after labs, and research.

Primary Duties

1. Assist Human Anatomy instructors in cadaver dissections (30%)
2. Prepare and set up laboratory including preparation of solutions, equipment, and software (10%)
3. Post-lab cleanup (30%)
4. Engages in research duties (20%)
5. Assist instructors in maintaining a safe work environment. (10%)
6. Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.

Secondary Duties

Other duties as assigned.

Education Required

Education Preferred

Experience Required

Completed or taking the cadaver-based anatomy course at Messiah’s PT program.

Experience Preferred

Skills, Characteristics Required

Must be a team player. 

Attention to detail is a must. 

Should be a self-motivator and have computer knowledge. 

Training will be provided.

Special Working Conditions

Student will be working in a cadaver lab.
