Student Employee – TA TechLab
Position Summary
The Ensign College TechLab Cloud Services team maintains a student-run datacenter that supports the academic requirements for Ensign College students all around the world. With our unique relationship with BYU Pathways, we provide cloud hosting services and cybersecurity services for students and classes in a globally available datacenter. This includes providing support to students currently in BYUPW online IT programs as well as those students studying at various Global Education Centers around the world. We are seeking student employees from any of the IT / CS programs offered on campus to work as a TA TechLab in the Technology Institute.
Student Employees are eligible to work on campus in a part time capacity, according to Ensign College Student Employment Policy. In addition to fulfilling this purpose, each employee continuously strives to bring about the mission of Ensign College, which is to develop capable and trusted disciples of Jesus Christ.
Note: students must be enrolled in at least 3 credits each block to be eligible for employment for the semester.
Hours: 15-19 hours a week during semester and the starting wage for all student employees is $14.00 per hour with the possibility of $.25 rate increase each semester of continued work based on merit.
Specific Summary of Duties
The TA TechLab will be responsible to perform the following responsibilities:

All student employees accept as conditions of employment that they will:
Be currently enrolled as an Ensign College student taking at least 6 credits (3 per block) and in good academic standing.
Refrain from behavior or expression that seriously and adversely affects the college mission or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Act in accordance with the Church Educational System Honor Code and the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations.
Comply with all college policies and procedures.
Commit to bring about the purposes of Ensign College.
Maintain these conditions of employment on an ongoing basis.
