Main Function

Assisting RPS in executing programming while observing and learning how the student ministry functions within a team-led environment.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Tier 1 // Assisting 

• Assist student staff in preparing environments for weekly services


• Assist the Associate Minister with Volunteer care


• Assist with social media

Tier 2 // Learning 

• Receive weekly classroom time with the Student Pastor to talk about all things student ministry


• Complete all assigned readings

Tier 3 // Observing 

• Participate in weekly RPS meetings


• Assist in planning and executing RPS events

Miscellaneous

• Clear understanding of, and commitment to modeling our RPC Staff Values


• Handle and safeguard confidential church information


• Actively attend Sunday worship services


• Attend required staff meetings (1st & 3rd Tuesdays)


• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor


• Task-oriented mindset


• Ability to interact with a wide range of people compassionately and patiently


• Ability to juggle multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy


• Ability to self-start and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
