Description
The Worcester Art Museum is looking for high school students interested in interning with our creative and lively studio programs team. This internship pays $15.50 hourly and will run concurrent with our summer program, so interns will get a diverse range of experiences. Everything from setting up studio spaces, helping to teach classes to a wide range of ages, maintaining supplies and inventory, and individual projects. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in arts education, educational programming, or just looking for a fun and engaging experience surrounded by art and the people who love it.
This internship will be about 15 hours weekly, and you will be responsible for activities ranging from classroom assistance and helping students, to independent projects such as lesson planning for the upcoming Arms & Armor exhibition, or researching and designing content for materials like family guides and brochures. This internship needs someone who enjoys engaging with children of all ages, and has a passion for art and art education.
