Summer 2026 Assistant Marketing Coordinator

The Summer Assistant Marketing Coordinator provides essential support to the Bogus Basin Marketing Team during the summer season (June – October). The ideal candidate for this position is analytical, a confident writer, computer-savvy, and social media fluent (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X). This position is a seasonal full-time position.

Essential Functions of the Job

The Summer Assistant Marketing Coordinator, you will:

• Assist in content creation for Bogus Basin and The Basin Gravity Park Instagram accounts, Bogus Basin Facebook, Tiktok, Twitter, and Youtube.
• Assist writing and structuring the Bogus Basin weekly newsletter.
• Organize WordPress media library.
• Create marketing graphics using Adobe, and other creative tools.  
• Make website edits such as updating operating hours, posting and editing event information, and updating notification box.
• Attend events, taking photos and videos.
• Events include the Boise Mountain Bike Festival, Music on the Mountain, National Public Lands Day, Art on the Mountain, NICA, etc. 

Non-Essential Functions of the Job

• Demonstrate initiative in establishing a positive, friendly persona  for the position that embodies the mission and culture of Bogus Basin.
• Perform non specified duties as required by the Marketing Team.

A Bogus Basin Summer Assistant Marketing Coordinator Must:

• Be reliable, self-directed, and able to work independently.
• Be detail-oriented and thorough. 
• Have reliable transportation to the mountain every day. 
• Have a thorough understanding of social media platforms, and be  comfortable posting multiple times daily while relating to mountain recreationalists in a meaningful manner.
• Conduct themselves in a professional manner. 
• High school diploma or equivalent, college preferred.
• Ability to complete a background check.
• Passionate about Bogus Basin’s Mission.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Ideal candidates would also:

• Be creative and forward-thinking. 
• Have previous copywriting or marketing experience.
• Already exhibit strong written communication skills.
• Be outgoing and eager to interface with mountain guests. 
• Have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment  meeting multiple time-bound deliverables.

Working Conditions

• Indoor and outdoor, mountain environment; occasionally exposed to  inclement weather and adverse conditions.
