Summer 2026 Technical Planning Co-Op (65493)

Objective of the Job

This position will be responsible for assisting the Plant Engineering group in all projects resulting in optimizing safety, quality, and productivity of any and all carlines.

Principal Activities:

• Provide support for day to day operations of engineering department.


• Optimize production processes for all parts.


• Recommend solutions for logistical routes, floor space and layouts for production department.


• Responsible to work with support departments in scheduling and reporting of trials.


• Responsible to track and coordinate continual process improvement projects.


• Provide appropriate communications to Department Manager and Supervisors as needed to achieve and maintain labor efficiency and costs.


• Ensure time studies are up to date


• Assist with new plant layouts and update existing plant layout drawings


• Ergonomic review and improvements


• Manage various plant level projects


• Other duties as assigned by PDD6 management to ensure optimal plant performance.


• Completion of LSS Yellow Belt Certification and project

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in progress within the field of Industrial Eng, or Automation Eng


• Completed three semesters towards degree


• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher


• Complete three alternating rotations for co-op positions


• Able to work in the US indefinitely and without restrictions
