Summer Internship

Harsco Environmental is the premier provider of material processing and environmental services to the global steel and metals industries. Our onsite mill services and resource recovery services offer sustainable solutions that maximize environmental benefit and return valuable raw material into production. We also have developed a range of by-products for specialized applications across industry, construction and agriculture, which utilize Harsco’s expertise in mineral materials.

This internship will focus on various aspects of program development and implementation. Interns would typically assist with needs assessments, materials preparation, and media capture (photos and videos), while also learning about best practices in training and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the creation of training materials, including presentations, guides, and other resources.
• Materials Preparation: Prepare training materials, organize documents, and assist with logistics for training events.
• Learning Management System (LMS): Assist with maintaining the LMS, uploading materials, and tracking participant progress.
• Feedback and Evaluation: Assist with collecting feedback on training programs and evaluating their effectiveness.
• Reporting and Documentation: Assist with preparing reports on training activities and documenting program implementation.

Skills and Qualities:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Multi-media experience in both photos and videos.
