Summer Operations Assistant

Tem-Tech is looking for a dependable, hardworking high school student who wants to gain real-world work experience.  This position provides opportunities to learn about business operations while helping with facility maintenance, inventory, organization, and supporting various departments.

No previous experience is required - we're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and pride in doing quality work. 

Responsibilities

      Facility & Grounds

•      Mow and trim the company lawn.


•     Keep the ship, warehouse, and office areas clean and organized.

      Inventory & Organization

•       Organize warehouse inventory.


•      Stock shelves and storage areas.


•      Count inventory and assist with inventory audits.


•      Label and organize parts and supplies.


•      Help keep tools and equipment in their proper locations.

     General Support

•       Deliver parts and supplies throughout the departments.


•      Run local errands as assigned.


•      Assist employees with basic tasks while learning new skills.


•      Perform miscellaneous projects assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

•       Must be at least 16 years old.


•      Currently enrolled in high school.


•      Valid driver's license with a clan driving record preferred.


•      Reliable transportation to and from work.


•      Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.


•      Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.

Schedule

     Flexible. Part-time, approximately 30-40 hours per week.
