Tax Internship (Spring 2026)

Centennial Tax & Accounting has openings for Tax Interns in our Davenport, Iowa office. Take the first step in your career at our growing tax and accounting firm. As a Tax Intern, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating clients’ data to assist in the accurate and timely completion of tax returns. You have the opportunity to work full-time or part-time, depending on your schedule. You will gain exposure to companies of various sizes and industries, as well as other financial services that support client success, including wealth management, business finance, and other banking services.

Tax Interns serve our clients by:

• Preparing federal and state and local tax returns


• Contacting clients for needed information


• Understanding tax regulations and accounting rules and pronouncements

To qualify, you must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, business or a related field, or have prior tax experience. In addition, you need: 

• Strong interpersonal skills 


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 


• Exhibit strong analytical and organizational skills 


• Present a professional, positive attitude and a strong work ethic 


• PC proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel and word processing applications
