Team Lead Trainee

The Team Lead Trainee will train with the Continuous Improvement Manager, Value Stream Manager and Team Leads, learning all aspects of the manufacturing processes, team development processes, and other Team Lead responsibilities at the Chatham, Virginia hardwood plywood facility. The Team Lead Trainee will be required to develop an understanding of the Lean Systems and Tools. This person will be required to use good Job Relations and Leadership skills to work with, develop, and grow the team in the Columbia Way Philosophy.

The role prepares the employee for a future Team Lead opening.  Previous leadership experience is preferred.  A degree in Business or Wood Science is preferred but not required.
