The Role

We're looking for a student to join our Support team, based in NYC as a Junior Technical Support Engineer. This is a rare opportunity to get hands-on experience with cutting-edge blockchain security products while still studying, and to grow with us. The role offers an opportunity to build a strong technical foundation while you study, with the potential to grow into a full-time role at Blockaid after graduation.

This role is meant for someone curious, sharp, and eager to learn - no prior professional experience required. What matters most is your ability to learn fast, think systematically, and grow into the role.

Work Format

This is a shift-based role - you'll work in rotating shifts. Exact scheduling will be discussed and coordinated to work around your studies as much as possible.

What You'll Do

• Provide front-line technical support for Blockaid applications, learning to diagnose and resolve real customer issues
• Get hands-on exposure to system performance, API integrations, and Web3 security concepts
• Monitor system performance metrics, API health, and security incident alerts
• Help maintain and improve playbooks, troubleshooting guides, and internal documentation
• Work closely with our Engineering and Product teams and learn the product directly from the people who build it
• Take on growing responsibility as you develop subject matter expertise

• Currently studying towards a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field
• Roughly 1–1.5 years remaining in your studies (so there's real runway to grow into the role and, ideally, transition to a full-time position after graduation)
• Strong analytical thinking and a systematic approach to problem-solving 
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly, follow through on customer inquiries, and know when to escalate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

• Curiosity about or enthusiasm for blockchain, crypto, and Web3 - this is a strong advantage, not a requirement
