Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic undergraduate student interested in completing a marine science internship at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). One internship position is available to support research on the population dynamics and toxicity of harmful algal bloom (HAB) species. The student will contribute to several ongoing projects, with a primary focus on analyzing water and sediment samples collected in the Arctic for the presence of Alexandrium catenella cells and cysts. This work aims to improve our understanding of the distribution of HAB species in the Arctic and how ocean warming may influence the timing and extent of future blooms.

Additional Job Requirements
Fixed Hourly range: $19.91-$25.50
The hourly rate provided for this position reflects the set base pay for new hires. Final level placement will be determined based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity and market conditions. In addition to base rate, casual employees are eligiible to receive casual benefits.
