- Assist with organizing product failure information and supporting documentation to improve visibility and follow-up.
- Help identify opportunities to improve the flow of information between Field Service, the Repair Shop, and other technical teams.
This work complements the existing Field Service organization's responsibility for in-house repairs and coordination of repair-shop and return-authorization processes.
Factory Witness Testing (FWT) Support
- Assist with preparation and setup activities associated with Factory Witness Testing.
- Support installation and preparation of UPS equipment for customer witness testing.
- Assist with organizing test documentation, checklists, and other materials needed for FWT activities.
- Work with technical personnel to help ensure equipment and documentation are prepared prior to testing.
- Observe testing activities to develop an understanding of equipment performance, customer requirements, and system operation.
Factory Witness Testing within the UPS Field Service organization includes equipment installation for customer verification and confirmation of customer requirements.
