LEARN THE CRAFT OF NEAPOLITAN PIZZA

During this eight-week program, participants will learn the standards, skills, discipline, and attention to detail that go into a V Pizza kitchen, from knife skills and prep work to dough making, topping pizza, and understanding the intricacies of cooking in a wood-fired kitchen. Kitchen experience is not required. We’re looking for people who are curious, dependable, willing to work, and genuinely interested in learning. The kind of people who show up on time, ask questions, take feedback, and want to get better every day.

Participants will spend 64 paid hours learning the standards, skills, and habits behind a V Pizza kitchen.

· Knife skills, prep work, food safety, and line setup

· The ingredients, menu, and quality standards that make V Pizza what it is

· Neapolitan-style dough making, including the science behind fermentation and consistency

· How to open, top, and finish pizzas in our wood-fired ovens

· How to prepare wings, sandwiches, salads, and other V Pizza menu items with the same attention to detail

· How to work with urgency, communicate with a team, take feedback, and stay accountable

· Weekly evaluations that help measure progress and make sure each participant is ready to move forward

When: Monday through Thursday | 8:30AM-10:30AM

 The Academy program is built for people who are interested in food, hospitality, and learning a skilled trade. This may include:

· People with a genuine passion for cooking, even without prior kitchen experience

· New team members interested in beginning a culinary path with V Pizza

· Current V Pizza employees who want to develop toward the pizza line

· Graduating high school seniors and co-op students exploring culinary work

· Recent graduates looking for a hands-on career path

· Anyone ready to learn the discipline, skill, and pride behind making exceptional food
