Mount Laurel Animal Hospital is seeking passionate and motivated veterinarians to join our Emergency -Focused Internship Program. This unique opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or veterinarians looking to launch a rewarding career in emergency medicine. Unlike a traditional rotating internship, this program is specifically designed to provide hands -on clinical experience, individualized mentorship, and professional growth opportunities. Over the course of this immersive year -long program, interns develop the skills and confidence needed to become competent, independent, and productive emergency veterinarians.

Program Description:
• Duration: 13 months
• Objective: To develop well -rounded, confident emergency veterinarians through comprehensive clinical exposure and mentorship
• Shift Structure: The schedule is divided evenly among four shift type, daytime ER, overnight ER, hospitalist, and specialty block
• Hours: Three consecutive 12 -hour shifts per week, with an additional surgery day during hospitalist and daytime ER rotations (average 42 hours/week)
• Active participation in ER departmental meetings, Fellow Rounds, lectures, journal clubs, and Morbidity & Mortality rounds
• Mentorship: One -on -one mentorship on every case, with interns maintaining primary case responsibility
• Species Exposure: Interns manage canine, feline, and exotic emergency cases
