As a Winter 2027 Maintenance Systems and Reliability Co-op at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), you will support the development and implementation of accurate equipment functional locations in SAP. You will help establish the asset hierarchy, verify and tag assets in the field, and update existing SAP Plant Maintenance plans with the correct functional locations. This work supports safe maintenance execution, accurate equipment records, effective planning, and long-term equipment reliability. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, communication, technical curiosity, and accountability in a high-speed food manufacturing environment.

• The KDP 2027 Winter Co-op Program will run from January 4 - June 25, 2027
• Full-time; 40 hours per week
• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM
• In-Person

Position Responsibilities

• Develop and implement equipment functional locations in SAP.
• Review equipment layouts, existing SAP records, technical documentation, and field conditions to support an accurate and sustainable functional-location hierarchy.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, Operations, and other site personnel to establish accurate asset relationships, equipment boundaries, naming standards, and location data.
• Validate functional locations in the field and improve alignment between physical assets, equipment labeling, and SAP records.
• Coordinate and complete asset-tagging activities that strengthen equipment identification and data accuracy throughout the facility.
• Maintain accurate records of functional locations, asset verification activities, tagging progress, identified discrepancies, and completed corrections.
• Support the alignment of existing SAP Plant Maintenance plans with the site's functional-location structure to improve asset traceability and maintenance-system effectiveness.
• Perform quality checks on SAP data and identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, consistency, and system integrity.
• Communicate project progress, findings, recommendations, and implementation status to stakeholders.
• Follow all plant safety, food safety, quality, access, and change-control requirements while working in SAP and in production or maintenance areas.

Scope of the Assignment

This co-op will support the development and implementation of the site's SAP maintenance asset structure. Responsibilities include developing functional locations, verifying equipment information in the field, coordinating asset tagging activities, and supporting the alignment of SAP Plant Maintenance plans with the site's functional location hierarchy. This work provides valuable experience in asset management, maintenance systems, reliability fundamentals, and the data structures that enable effective maintenance planning and execution.

Why This Experience Matters

Accurate functional locations are foundational to an effective maintenance system. They connect physical equipment to work orders, maintenance plans, equipment history, cost information, spare parts, and reliability analysis. By developing the SAP hierarchy, validating assets in the field, installing asset tags, and correcting functional locations in existing maintenance plans, you will learn how disciplined master data connects the physical plant to the systems used to manage maintenance and reliability. This experience shows where engineering, maintenance execution, and information integrity meet in daily manufacturing operations.

• $31.00/hour
• Paid bi-weekly
• $5,000 Sign-on Bonus, paid within 30 days of employment

• Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Maintenance and Reliability, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, and have completed at least two full years of undergraduate study before the start of the co-op.
• Available to work 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) for the full co-op term.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills, including active listening, professional written communication, effective verbal communication, and the ability to engage employees at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and maturity in academic, work, leadership, military, athletic, or extracurricular settings.
• Comfortable working safely in a manufacturing environment and spending significant time in the field locating, verifying, and tagging equipment.
• Ability to follow defined standards, apply technical direction, ask questions when information is unclear, and avoid making unsupported assumptions.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage assigned work while remaining within the defined scope of authority.
• Ability to collaborate across Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and EHS.
• Ability to receive feedback, apply coaching, and continuously improve work quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; previous SAP experience is helpful but not required.
