Work Study

The Work Study position will support the Banking Operations team by assisting with administrative, clerical, and operational functions that contribute to the efficient processing of bank transactions and customer-related activities. This position provides hands-on exposure to banking processes, professional office practices, compliance requirements, and financial services operations while developing workplace and career-readiness skills.

• Assist with scanning, indexing, and filing operational documents


• Support the review, organization, and maintenance of customer and transaction records


• Assist with data entry and verification to ensure accuracy of banking records


• Support account maintenance activities under direct supervision


• Organize and archive physical and electronic records in accordance with bank policies


• Assist with processing incoming mail and departmental communications


• Support quality control reviews of operational documentation


• Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information


• Participate in department meetings, training sessions and special projects


• Assist team members with daily operational tasks and administrative support functions


• Follow all bank security, compliance, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in high school and participating in an approved Work Study Program


• Must be at least 16 years of age 


• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Ability to maintain confidentiality 


• Dependable, professional and willing to learn


• Effective verbal and communication skills


• Preferred: Interest in banking, finance, business, accounting or related business fields
