FORVIA is looking for a Year-Round Acquisition & Program Intern for our Auburn Hills, Michigan location.

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The role of the Acquisition Intern is to support the processes within the department in order to ensure proper Accounting, robust reporting, and creation of detailed forecasts and other analysis. Performs numerous admin functions in support of the Program, Acquisition & Product Line teams.

Main Duties - monthly Program dashboard reporting and tracking. Also WBS creation and reporting.

• Monthly Acquisition Forecast.
• Monthly Dashboard reporting.
• Award Books.
• Data analysis and trouble-shooting.
• WBS Administrator.
• Coordinate and prepare monthly Acquisition Spending Forecast.
• Prepare monthly reports for Acquisition Dashboard and Programs Dashboard.
• Support team on analysis of actual spending, open commits, etc. regarding WBS spending.
• Prepare and publish awards books for new business awards.
• Work with Marketing Dept in preparation of programs/volumes/sales for budgets/Fcst/SP.
• Generate reclass entries to correct errors found in WBS analysis.
• Create WBS numbers for Acquisition/Development programs based upon approvals received.
• Administrator of the ACA spending control process. 
• Support special projects as assigned.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

• Actively seeking a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Some previous work experience [preferred not required]
• Capability to work within a team  
• Strong written and oral communication skills  
• Foreign Languages [Spanish/French/German] a plus.
• Motivated, driven personality; willing to learn the skill set and seeking further opportunities
