What you will do

• Study, propose, and implement a raw materials inventory strategy for the Endoscopy Division.
• Collect and analyze historical variability of orders and variability of finished goods supply by Power Brand SKU.  Articulate an understanding of the variability on both the supply side and the demand side.
• Learn the supply chain structure for the Power Brands in the Endo Division.  Propose groupings/segmentation for raw materials planning based on common attributes.
• Propose a raw materials inventory approach for each group/segment.  Include supplier-managed inventory in the proposal.
• Leverage lean principles in the recommendations.
• Compile a list of recommendations to disseminate to Stryker Executives.  Obtain approval for the approach (may require iteration).
• Guide the Stryker Endoscopy Supply Planning teams through implementation of the approved approach.  Number of implementations will be jointly agreed between the Intern and the Supply Planning teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Ability to exercise independent judgment
• Proficient on basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Proven leadership and business acumen skills
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills
