Marketing Intern

Golden Nugget Las Vegas Marketing Department Internship Program is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to provide with abundant experience in a casino/resort marketing department that can provide context for the academic work and training, guidance and support, as well as the opportunity to experience the industry from the inside and gain valuable work experience.

Responsibilities:

Incumbent will participate in the Golden Nugget Las Vegas Marketing Department Internship Program which will focus on these 4 main areas:
1. Obtaining Relevant Work Experience
a. The goal of this program is to provide the participant with exposure to opportunities to develop work skills that are applicable to the hospitality industry.
2. Career Opportunity Exposure
a. By acquainting the intern with multiple professions, we will allow them to understand how the different hospitality departments interact and collaborate to create success.
3. Growth and Development
a. An assignment encompassing the intern’s experiences during the program will translate into retention of information conceived throughout the internship. This assignment will also allow for the individual to provide feedback and suggestions on improving future internship programs.
4. Mentorship
a. Networking with hospitality leaders will provide the intern a trusted and experienced professional to guide and advise them throughout the program.

Qualifications:

• Project task assignments may include weekends and holidays as assigned
• Be enrolled full-time in a college or university, studying marketing, communications, web development or a related field.
• Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative
• Imitative to work with occasional short deadlines for the creation of marketing materials
• Must be an ambitious self-starter with the capability to research new content ideas
• Aspire to have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong creativity and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Posted Salary Range: USD $15.00 - USD $15.00 /Hr.
