Structural Internship

We offer an exciting Structural Internship opportunity in our Portland, Oregon office. This is an eight-week internship starting June 10, 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Under the direction of the Intern Manager, assits with structural design, sketches, computer modeling, and similar technical work for bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects
• Ability to read and develop contract plans, special provisions, and engineer’s estimates

• Attend Lunch n’ Learns with other interns and engineers at H&H
• Attend at least one site visit

Requirements

• Rising college senior or graduate student
• Attention to detail
• Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office basic apps
• Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and committment
• Work in-office Monday-Friday, work hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.
