Accounts Payable - Remote Work

Job Description:

LKQ is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our remote team based in San Antonio, Texas. This part-time role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable and is ideal for someone who is reliable, passionate about finance, and possesses strong leadership and analysis skills.

Responsibilities: - Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Prepare and process payments to vendors on a timely basis - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations of the accounts payable process - Provide support for any ad-hoc financial projects or tasks as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently in a remote environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Experience with SAP is a plus - Reliable and passionate about delivering high-quality work - Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work well in a team
