Accounts Receivable - Remote Work

Job Description:

Targa Resources is seeking a part-time Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team in San Jose, California. This is a remote work position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work independently while still being a valuable contributor to the team.

Responsibilities: - Generate and send out invoices to customers - Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up on outstanding balances - Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies - Maintain accurate records of transactions and update customer information as needed - Assist with month-end closing processes and financial reporting - Communicate effectively with customers to address billing inquiries and resolve issues - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely billing - Adhere to company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable

Requirements: - 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field - Energetic and confident personality traits - Strong persuasion and communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
