Job Description - Part-Time Housekeeping

This Part Time Housekeeping role involves maintaining cleanliness in all floors, offices, service areas, and break rooms, while also ensuring that showrooms and customer waiting areas are properly staged for the next day’s business operations. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety and have a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Part Time Housekeeping Compensation and Benefits: Part Time Housekeeping Starting Salary: Starting at $17 per hour. Saturday 8 hours, Sunday 4 hours, Monday 8 hours (requires transportation), Wednesday (optional 3 hours). Shifts start at 9pm. Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): We prioritize work-life balance, offering industry-leading PTO. New full-time employees accrue 4 hours per pay period, totaling approximately 96 hours in the first year, with increases over time. Paid Holidays: Hannah Motor Company offers 5 paid holidays per year to Housekeeping subject to completion of the introductory period and other eligibility requirements as per company policy. Housekeeping Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedure. Restock paper supplies and other amenities as needed.
  • Sweep, mop and vacuum floors using brooms, dust mops, mop and bucket, floor scrubber and vacuums.
  • Clean doors of all fingerprints and debris.
  • Empty cigarette urns and remove trash from exterior bins located at main entrances.
  • Clean all glass with proper chemical. Spot clean glass partitions in offices as needed.
  • Use dusting spool to remove dust from light fixtures, partition tops, wall art and other signage or displays throughout building.
  • Clean coffee service areas; clean counters and cabinets.
  • Remove trash and recycling from offices, service areas and showrooms. Reline cans. Dispose of trash and recycling in proper containers.
  • Dust, clean or wipe desk areas, monitors, phones, and keyboards. Clean office chairs as needed.
  • Maintain equipment and store rooms; report any broken equipment to the manager immediately.
  • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours.
  • Put away inventory received; maintain cleanliness of supply closets and utility rooms.
  • Clean equipment such as vacuums and floor machines after use or as directed by manager.
  • Complete special requests as directed by the manager.
Housekeeping Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate with others via multi-lingual dictionaries and cellular phone translation apps.
  • Ability to assess business needs and prioritize duties accordingly.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
  • Ability to work alone and manage one’s own time.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Ability to work at multiple job sites during shift.
