Accountant

Job Description:

General Dynamics is seeking a reliable and hardworking Accountant to join our team in Denver, Colorado on a part-time basis. As an Associate Level Accountant with a minimum of 4 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our company.

Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes - Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information - Assist in budget preparation and monitoring - Support the financial planning and analysis process - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards - Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and procedures - Participate in special projects as assigned

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA certification preferred - Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or finance - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and accuracy
