Accountant

Job Description:

WEC Energy Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry Level Accountant in our Seattle, Washington office. This is a part-time position ideal for individuals looking to kickstart their accounting career with a well-established company in the energy industry.

Responsibilities: - Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures - Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve any discrepancies - Assist with audits and tax preparation - Support the accounting team with various ad hoc projects and tasks as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Resilient and reliable with the ability to work independently and in a team setting - Strong strategic planning and persuasion skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
