Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a part-time Accountant to join our team at J.M. Smucker in Fort Worth, Texas. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll processing. 2. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review. 3. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making. 4. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. 5. Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies. 6. Assist with audits and tax compliance. 7. Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or a related field. 3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred. 4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. 5. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. 6. Attention to detail and accuracy. 7. Hardworking and energetic personality. 8. Strong presentation and persuasion skills.
