Accountant

Job Description:

Lansing Trade Group is looking for a part-time Accountant to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in accounting and possess strong analytical skills. As an Associate level Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities: - Maintain financial records by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and cash flow statements - Assist with audit preparation and provide support during audits - Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders - Use accounting software to manage financial transactions - Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA certification is a plus - At least 3 years of accounting experience - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Adaptable and resilient personality traits - Soft skills in analysis and innovation - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
