Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

Owens-Illinois is seeking a motivated and driven Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from San Francisco, California. This position is at the Associate Level and requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and maintain financial records and reports for the company. 2. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. 3. Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and standards. 4. Work closely with other members of the finance team to support financial decision-making. 5. Provide support for audits and tax filings. 6. Conduct financial reconciliations and analysis. 7. Assist with ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2. CPA certification is preferred. 3. 3+ years of experience in accounting. 4. Strong technical skills with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6. People management and persuasion skills. 7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
