Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Siemens is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in San Diego, California. As a part-time employee at the Associate Level, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities: - Review and verify invoices and check requests - Sort, code, and match invoices to purchase orders and receipts - Enter and upload invoices into the system - Track expenses and process expense reports - Prepare and perform check runs - Reconcile accounts payable transactions - Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date - Resolve invoice discrepancies - Maintain vendor files - Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries - Assist with month-end closing

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Resilient and resourceful personality traits - Strong negotiation and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of GAAP
