Remote Accounts Receivable

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and resourceful Remote Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team at TIAA in Austin, Texas. As a part-time employee, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable processes remotely.

Responsibilities: 1. Process invoices and billing statements accurately and efficiently. 2. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances. 3. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies. 4. Coordinate with customers to ensure timely payments are received. 5. Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement. 6. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounts receivable processes. 7. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures. 8. Maintain accurate records and documentation of accounts receivable activities.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or financial services. 3. Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. 6. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. 7. Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
